Who I am, Who is Crystal Gayle, Why this Website ?

My name is Charles Lochet, I was born on June 11th 1968 in Le Mans, France, where I always live today.

One day, during 1984 summer, I discovered by chance Crystal Gayle, a famous American Country Singer, by watching and old Muppet's show from 1979.

She instantly took my heart and soul with her beautiful voice and her fabulous beauty.

Her voice was powerful, sweet and pure as much as she looked herself: a delicious young lady with big blue yes, angelic face and long brown hair.

As she was unknown in France, ten years happened while I remembered about this wonderful and magic memory, before I heard on the local radio her most famous hit "Don't it make my brown eyes blue".

Till this Moment and the great help of Internet starting to be available to the public, I started researchs to know more about her and her singer career.

Through the years, the help of Internet and some of her fans met on the Web, I've been able to collect all her recordings, many magazine's articles, photos and most amazing the biggest video collection known for now!

Nothing made me supposed to be able to collect such a big collection since I was living in a country where she was unknown as most country music artists, unless a tireless adoration and fascination for the sweet, beautiful and talented Crystal Gayle.

In april 2007, twenty three years after discovering her in the Muppet's show, I had the chance to be able to go to see her on stage at the Fairfield Hall near London, and meet her after concert.

Needless to say how much it was a fabulous and unbelievable experience for me, a few moments of eternity in ones life after so many years of admiration.

Crystal Gayle is a truely fabulous and fantastic lady, as much sweet and nice as she looks, and I wish I could go again to see her on stage and meet her.

The Goal of this website is to share all the pieces of my collection that I can show there to fans, admirators and any curious people of a fabulous discover.

To put online such a big collection is a big work, always in progress.
